Trulia has been good to me since December 2007, and I truly appreciate the featured blog distinction this week. Trulia, thank you for helping me and my real estate business. It should make you feel terrific that Zillow really blew it today with one of my listings – bad data, mystery data, and confusing data never happen with my Trulia listings. I’ve never liked Zillow’s GUI. Now, I just think that their data is messy. All joking aside, Trulia crushes Zillow at almost every touchpoint that matters to the real estate consumer, in my opinion. I wanted to say something funny to lighten my mood, but now, I’ll just tell the same joke that I told back on January 7, 2008 on Trulia. The Mother of All Intown Atlanta Real Estate Charts Meets the Ghetto Burger

This is a Ghetto Burger: This is The Mother of All Intown Atlanta Real Estate Charts: I went to Miss Ann’s Snack Bar in Kirkwood today – I got there at 1103am, and I stood with my friend Tim as the 17th and 18th people in line waiting for a Ghetto Burger before Miss Ann opened her door at 1145am. We waited for 1 hour and 40 minutes, after watching 9 people get served, and then we left and went to Six Feet Under, down the street in Grant Park. At 1245 or so, there were 50 people waiting to be served at Miss Ann’s Snack Bar – at this rate, they would all be served by 3pm. Some folks, just like me, are too busy to wait on snack food. Some folks, just like many elusive buyers of today’s real estate offerings, are too busy to wait for most listed properties to come down to reasonable price levels.
